This Privacy Policy explains how Vortex AI ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Vortex AI mobile application (the "App") and this website.
1. Information We Collect
- Content you provide: messages, prompts, and files you submit to the App are sent to our servers to generate AI responses (text, images, music, or video).
- Account information: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.
- Device and usage data: a device identifier, app version, plan status, and daily usage counters (used to enforce fair-use limits and free-tier quotas).
- Purchase data: subscription status and purchase tokens from Google Play, used only to verify and activate your plan. We never see or store your payment card details — payments are processed entirely by Google Play.
2. How We Use Information
- To generate AI responses and operate the App's features.
- To verify subscriptions and apply the correct plan.
- To enforce free-tier quotas, fair usage, and abuse prevention (including device counts and rate limits).
- To fix bugs and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your conversations to build advertising profiles.
3. AI Processing
To answer your requests, your prompts may be processed by third-party AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) under their respective data-processing terms. Prompts are transmitted securely and used only to generate your response.
4. Advertising
The free version of the App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset your advertising ID in your device settings. Pro and Ultra subscribers see no ads.
5. Data Retention
- Chat history is stored locally on your device; you can delete it at any time from within the App.
- Server-side usage counters and security logs are retained only as long as needed for quota enforcement and abuse prevention.
- Subscription records are retained for the life of your subscription plus any period required for accounting.
6. Security
We use HTTPS for all network traffic, store session tokens in your device's secure keystore, verify all purchases server-side, and apply rate limiting and abuse detection to protect the service.
7. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise them, contact us using the details on the Contact page. You can delete your account data by signing out and contacting support.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised above.
